Office History

Dr. Steven Stradley graduated from IU School of Dentistry in May of 1976. He and his wife, Mary, decided to locate to Greenburg knowing there was a dental shortage in that area. Unable to find adequate office space he contacted Dr. Laskowski who was wanting to build a new office. Together with help from Decatur County Bank they built their office at 112 East 10th Street. They had separate dental practices with a common reception area and business office.

On Dr. Laskowski’s retirement, after 38 years of practicing dentistry in Greensburg, Dr. Stradley combined the two practices. In 2005 Dr. Elizabeth Hagerty joined the practice. She was instrumental in advancing office technology; including digital x-rays and computer charting. 5 years later, 2010 Dr. Kathryn Stradley joined the practice. With the patient load continuing to grow, a new clinic was built across the street at 101 E. Tenth Street. Stradley Hagerty Dentistry went from 7 operatories to 12 operatories at that time.

Dr. Steven Stradley retired in 2021 after 45 years of practicing dentistry. We can’t thank Dr. Steven Stradley enough for his dedication to his patients, expertise in dentistry, caring nature, and positive impact on our community. Together Dr. Elizabeth Hagerty and Dr. Katy Stradley have continued to advance the practice into its current state. The practice continues to grow with a staff of 16 including 6 hygienist.
